Hi, I'm Relationship Fitness Coach Denver Hudson.
Before you consider working with me as your coach, I'm sure you're going to
want to know a little about me and what makes me tick. That's fair. So let's jump in!
I've been passionate about human relationships and fitness since I was in
my early teens. At an early age, I was reading books like "False Love" and "Finding the Love of Your
Life." Admittedly, I'm fascinated with and passionate about the whole realm of human
relationships in all contexts of life including intimate relationships, leadership, and teams.
In March 1993, I opened my business, serving mostly businesses and
non-profits by offering speaking and training services. (View services available to leaders and organizations
at: http://www.thewowmovement.com.) I'm passionate about helping
individuals take personal responsibility for their lives, create transformation in their personal health, and to
learn exactly what it takes to create and sustain fulfilling and dynamic relationships.
As a result of this passion, I live to fulfill the possibility of a world
of optimally healthy people who live, love, and work consciously for the betterment of all mankind. Our
personal health and the health of our relationships are the fundamental aspects of healthy world - and the key
to a brighter future for all of us.
In 2000, my business evolved when I was introduced to the profession of
coaching by my mentor and good friend, Tom Richardson. Through coaching, a whole new world opened up to me as I
immersed myself into a profession that is deeply committed to the pursuit of human greatness. The first
challenge I was faced with was myself - opening up to my own greatness. Being in the profession of coaching
has been and continues to be an amazing experience both for me and those I serve.
Professional Training
I'm a professionally trained Ontological Coach, Certified Fitness Trainer
(ISSA), Certified Holistic Stress Management Specialist, Certified Training Consultant, and Certified Seminar
Leader. I am most proud of being an Ontological Coach. Ontology is the study of BEING - what it means to BE a
human being. Foundational to this work is the art and science of human relating, which is the very means by
which we create our identity and value in the world.
As an Ontological Coach, I work in the domains of the body, moods and
emotions, and language. When we generate health in these domains and relate from that state of health, we
open ourselves, our relationships, our lives, our businesses, and our world to new
possibilities.
You've probably not heard of Ontological Coaching, but it has been called
the most sophisticated form of coaching available on the planet. And I would agree! One thing I do know is the
power of this form of coaching to truly create transformation in a person's life and
relationships.
After I completed my Ontological Coach Training, I reinvented my business,
extending beyond - yet still inclulding - by business offerings. This extension includes three primary
clients:
-
Singles who are seeking a life partner while creating a life they
truly love
-
Committed Couples who want to rekindle and deepen their intimacy,
connection, and love for each other while creating new possibilities for their lives and
marriage
-
Those recovering from divorce who are ready to reinvent their
lives, restory their strength and personal power, heal their heart, and find love again.
Since I have a strong interest in fitness and have been exercising
consistently since my early teens - and since we deal with the body domain in Ontological Coaching - I obtained
a certification as a fitness trainer to expand my knowledge further and to offer additional value to my
clients.
Personally
Life has been such a wonderful experience. I've met people who think those
in the coaching profession are somehow "perfect." Not so. In fact, my life has been characterized by a
number of challenging events that I would find out later is exactly what I needed to learn and grow. For
example, and this may seem odd to some, I've experienced my own divorce.
In my marriage, we literally grew apart, "fell asleep" and found ourselves
with different ideas of what the future should look like. My wife and I came to a point where we were no
longer aligned in our core values and the vision of our future. Ultimately, these differences resulted in us
parting our ways. (The short version of the story!)
Through it all, my commitment to learn, maintain my health, and be true to
a higher calling on my life, helped me through - along with some great friends and family - and a great
coach! I learned what it takes to stand back up, brush one's self off, and face the world with a renewed
commitment to love boldly, serve compassionately, and be a stand for optimal health and conscious loving. As a
result of what I've went through in my own life, I show up for clients in a strong, yet compassionate
way.
I'm a very spiritual person and believe that God lives in, through, and as
each of us. The healthier we are, and the healthier our relationships, the more Life can move through each
of us as a creative impulse and loving expression in the world. This is actually the deepest thing that
inspires my work.
I am now in a relationship with an amazing woman, Laura Hayes, and we enjoy
a deep respect and appreciation for each other. We both share a commitment to our health and well-being and to
standing together in the world as a commitment to meaningful service. We love to laugh together and
create together. We live what we teach, and have aligned our lives through a shared vision and shared
values that brings a richness and depth to our relationship. We both look forward to serving YOU in
fulfilling your goals and aspirations in the area of health, relationships, and meaningful
living.
I look forward to sharing more with you as we work together in a
coaching relationship. If you have any questions about my training or experiences, please don't hesitate to
